Awamaki is a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to connecting Andean artisan weavers with global markets. They partner with 8 women-led, rural, Andean artisan cooperatives to provide training and market access. At its core, the purpose of their work is to create sustainable economic opportunities for Indigenous women artisans in Peru and to support their financial independence so they have the resources they need to invest in themselves and their families’ wellness.
