The Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC)’s mission it so protect the vulnerable ecosystems of Antarctica and the Southern Ocean by providing a unified voice for Antarctic Conservation. Their work spans environmental advocacy, science communication, representation at international meetings, and monitoring emerging threats to the Antarctic environment. With the support of members and campaigners, the ASOC submits information papers, provides scientific and policy expertise, contributes to negotiations, and advocates for precautionary, science-based policies that place environmental protection at their core.
